Just In

We apologize for the lack of video on this meeting, as the Civic President, Woody Brown and Ann O'Brien decided to ban the use of video cameras at Miller Place Civic Meetings held at the Miller Place High School, even though the community has told us they enjoy the video and consider it a valuable service. Thankfully we were furnished with the audio of the meeting so you could enjoy the honorary guest Eagle Scout, Brendan J. O'Connell tell his journey of a boy scout in Troop 204 and then finally becoming an Eagle Scout. Brendan's Mom also spoke about why she suggested he become a boy scout and her support for his journey. Unfortunately Brendan spoke to an audience of only 2 people (besides elected officials and civic board members) So we are especially proud to share this with the Miller Place residents. The scheduled presentation by the 6th precinct never took place. Next meeting is schedule in January 2012
